Delete your MyQuietMind account
You can request deletion of your MyQuietMind account and all associated data at any time, either from inside the app or by contacting us directly. We'll process every request within 30 days, and most are completed instantly.
Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (instant)
- Sign in to MyQuietMind.
- Open Profile (top-right avatar menu).
- Scroll to the Permanent danger zone card.
- Tap "Permanently delete account" and confirm.
The deletion is processed immediately. You'll be signed out, your session is invalidated, and all your data (listed below) is removed from our database.
Option 2 — Email us (if you can't sign in)
If you've lost access to your account, can't sign in, or simply prefer email, send a deletion request to:
info@myquietmind.netPlease send from the Google account you used to sign in (so we can verify ownership). We'll confirm receipt within 3 business days and complete deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
Once your deletion is processed, the following are permanently removed from our systems:
- Your account profile (name, email, profile picture, preferences)
- All chat history with Sage
- All journal entries and mood logs
- All exercise generation prompts, daily plans, and practice completion logs
- Soundscape session history and streak data
- Referral code records and milestone celebration records
- Your active session tokens (you'll be signed out everywhere)
What's retained (and why)
- Payment transaction records are retained for up to 7 years as required by accounting and tax law. These records contain only the transaction ID, amount, and date — no personal data linking back to you after deletion.
- Anonymized, aggregated metrics (e.g. "X practices completed this week" with no user identifier) may remain in our analytics dashboards.
If you have an active subscription
Account deletion will automatically cancel any active Stripe or Google Play subscription so you won't be charged again. If you purchased on Google Play, you may also want to manage the subscription directly via Google Play subscriptions for instant cancellation visibility there. No refunds are issued for the unused portion of the current billing period (industry standard).
